Pinjarra plays host to the annual Plein Air Down Under festival - the Peel region’s largest outdoor painting festival featuring over 200 artists who participate in an exciting 3-day program throughout Mandurah’s town centre, cultural precinct, and the historic town of Pinjarra. The festival features internationally renowned artists who run Masterclasses, paint and demonstrate throughout the festival.

Plein Air Down Under 2024 presented three internationally renowned artists to paint and demonstrate their skills during the festival. The artists, Lori Putnam (USA), Tony Robinson (Ireland) and Leon Holmes (Australia) brought their distinct perspectives, adding an enriching global dimension.
